twenties girl

Today is a big day. Not only is it the first day of my spring staycation (yep - still staying put for nine glorious days), but I also get to go to that Kuwaiti wedding I mentioned a couple of posts ago.

And because the fashionistas out there might be interested, here's my 1920s-inspired outfit for tonight:
  • lavender silk and linen couture dress (I have one of the only three ever made)
  • light brown vintage leather shoes
  • my favorite Louis Vuitton clutch
  • an opera-length string of pearls that I'm going to wear knotted

I'm not a fashionista (I wear PJs as many hours of the day as possible) but I do like that colour. I'm sure you'll look lovely. Have fun!
