These days, spring cleaning includes my many hard drives. Am I not modern?
Anyway - I set aside 25 of my favorite pictures of Kuwait. Some are untouched (perhaps just cropped), while others are obviously the products of fun with Photoshop (primarily the filters). Either way, I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
EDIT: Sorry guys, I should have clarified in order to avoid any confusion. These aren't my pictures (i.e., taken by yours truly) - they're pictures that I either came across or that were sent to me by friends since moving to Kuwait. They just happen to be cluttering my hard drives, and I just happen to love them. So hold off on the accolades. I don't deserve them. I promise to tackle my camera's memory cards and post some of my own photos soon(ish), though.

Great pics. I never realized how pretty Kuwait was. Love the architecture.

You have some wonderful images here, but that 2nd one of the storm coming in is spectacular - I'd love to see a larger version of it. Is it a sandstorm? I've never seen one outside of movies, so am not entirely sure what I'm looking for
Kim: Please see the above edit and sorry about the confusion.
But basically, yeah - that's a dust storm blowing in. In the city, it's called a dust storm; out in the desert, it's called a sand storm. But it's basically the same thing: a big cloud of dust/sand that just blows in. Sometimes it's very fine, and it floats in (very fog-like), and other times it's coarse, and it looks almost like a dark wall that advances toward you, gobbling up the scenery along the way. In this picture, it's the latter.
Still a great collection though :)
:)
Sometimes I fear that my blog has replaced my fridge door (minus all the magnets).
